Happy Mother's Day

I wanted to wish my mom, sisters, mother-in-law and friends a happy Mother's Day. I got to spend some time with my mom this week, she had a procedure done on her toe. Everything went well and I am happy to report she is up and about now. I wanted to say to my mom that she has been such a great example to me. I am how I am because of my mom. I learned to serve, help, cook, clean, craft, and try all from her. I am grateful for the example she has been in my life and for always being my #1 cheerleader for anything I wanted to do. Thank you for all the years of service in my life and for allowing me to become who I am today. I love you.

Mom Davis I want to thank you for the wonderful man you raised. For the good family you have created and for all of the love and support we have received all of these years. I love you.

Happy Mother's Day to all.

Haircut day

Angela and I went to get our hair done today. Lala got about 7 inches of hair chopped off. It turned out sooo cute and she loved her haircut. Unlike the other day when I was cutting all of the boys hair and she wanted her hair done too, so I cut her bangs just a little bit, this is what she said when she looked in the mirror: "I look horrible, I didn't want to look like you!" threw herself on the bed and cried. Brat, I know but a cute one. Not the case today. She loved her haircut and was excited about the pictures that are going to go on the pewter (computer). She's had so much fun flipping her hair.

She had a lot of fun posing for her pictures. She's a natural.

Fathers and Sons and Girls Night Out

On Friday the boys and Eric went to the Fathers and sons camp out up by Payson, they said it was freezing, it got into the low 30's, burrrrrrr. Lala and I went to my mom's and we did some scrapbooking, card playing and crafts. Here's some of the signs that we did. Thanks Gini and Shelley for letting us borrow your cute stencils for our signs, they turned out sooooo cute. This one is my favorite. I have it up in my Kitchen already.
My mom did this one for her living room.
She made this one for her bedroom to go over her headboard.
Not bad for a day without stinky boys.

Eric & Jysele's Baptism

Well, here are the pictures I was able to take this afternoon for Eric's baptism invitation. Everyone in cordially invited to attend on May 17th at 11:30 am at the Bella Vista Stake Center. My niece Jysele Luna is also getting baptized that day. Food and family fun follows at the Davis home, all are invited to come.

He's so handsome and sweet.

Jysele is so beautiful all in white.

It's Great to be Eight

Today is Eric John's 8th birthday. He has been so excited about turning eight, he has been reminding me all week. We have a little tradition at our home on birthdays, we gather around the birthday boys bed and sing happy birthday to wake him up. I think Eric John enjoyed it.

Following my birthday ode to my family here are the top 8 reasons why we LOVE Eric John:

8. The sweetest smile ever

7. He tells me he loves me at least 10 times a day

6. He is so thoughtful and loving to everyone

5. He is my official informant when the rest of the boys and Lala are being naughty (does not include himself in the official report)

4. He will share whatever he has with everyone (one cookie or his baseball treat cut into 6 pieces a sight to behold)

3. Loves baseball, playing with friends, pizza, ice cream and all things sweet, just like him

2. Loves to play with Lala, even if it's tea party

And the number 1 reason we Loves Eric John is:

1. The Davis' wouldn't be the Davis' without him

His Baptism is coming up soon. It crept up on me. I've been working on invitations, but they are slow in coming. He will be baptized on May 17th at 11:30 am at the Queen Creek East Stake Center, at the building on Bella Vista. All are invited to come. My niece Jysele will be baptized that same day as well. I'll post their invitation soon.
